How to change Jira issue view to the old version by default

hi we added a new user and for some reason when he opens jira always has to manually change the view type to the old view, how can he just pick he old view by default?

Hi Jon,

To disable the new issue view, he must go to his Profile picture > Personal settings > Jira labs:

If he usually goes to a ticket and selects the option "See the old view" it will indeed only disable to see the ticket for a while, and when he logs in back, it will show the new view again.
