How to change Project Key including letters and numbers

Hi,

I am new to Jira OnDemand and I am configuring a Project. I would like to add a year to the project Key and change it when the year goes by. I have read in the documentation that numbers can be added to the Key, but when I add a number I get an error: "You must specify a unique project key, at least 2 characters long, containing only uppercase letters". Is it possible to add a number or it isn't? If it is possible, what am I doing wrong?

You can't change the project key format on OnDemand
