Hi everyone.
We plan to change our Jira plan from Standard to Premium.
But what will happen, if we find out that Premium is not that good as we expected?
Is there a way back to Standard without any loss of data or sth.
I look forward to any information or hint.
Thanks to all and have a nice day
Andreas
Hey Andreas,
Yes, you can start a Premium trial for no additional cost. After the trial duration, you'll automatically be charged the Premium monthly cost. If you decide not to continue with Premium, you must change your plan before the trial period ends.
Please check the details here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Re-Can-you-upgrade-Jira-Cloud-Standard-plan-to-Premium-f/qaq-p/1590356/comment-id/621436#M621436
Thanks,
Karan
Hello Karan.
Thanks for the quick reply.
You are talking about how to start a trial period to check if the premium version is suitable for enterprise use. So far I understood that. To return to the standard, it is sufficient not to extend the trial period.
But I would need to know if and how it is possible to switch back from Premium to Standard after a longer period of time (e.g. 6 months).
And what would that mean? Do we possibly lose data or even the entire project structure?
Thats what I try to (and have to ;-) ) find out.
Many thanks and have a nice day.
Andreas
