How to change fields size on a screen / put fields on an horizontal plan

Hello, Is it possible : - to change the size of several fields on a screen ? - by defaults, the fields are placed the ones following the others on a vertical plan… is it possible to place 2 or 3 fields the ones following the others on the horizontal level? if it is not possible, do you know any plugin that can help me to do that ? Not without making some code changes. The line-by-line layout of Jira is quite simple and hard-coded in the files that draw the custom field area.

Some people move the fields around with javascript, although I believe that's become harder in Jira 5+

I've not seen a plugin that makes this any easier I'm afraid.
