Hey guys,
I am using Jira Cloud currently. I have created an "Automation" that emails a few select users when a new issue is created for a Service Desk project. Currently, when the email is actually sent, it is sent from the Project Default users' email. I want to change the email to be sent from something more generic (i.e. maybe like no-reply@jira.com or something like that). unfortunately, when I navigate to the "edit automation" screen, the only option is to have the rule run as either 1) Project default user or 2) the user who triggered the rule.
I believe I would like the rule to run as a no-reply@jira.com user (or at least I would like the email to be sent from that address).
Does anyone know how to change who the rule is running as?
Thank you in advance,
Elijah Molloy
Here is what I am attempting to change. I'm not sure if my description above contained enough detail of what I was attempting to do.
