How to change the type of a custom field?

Hi, there.

I have customized a field named "End date" and set the type to "Date Time Picker". Is it possible to change the type to "Date Picker"?

Hello,

You would need to create a new custom field and then copy all data from the old custom field to the new one.

You can use Jira Cloud Rest Api for it:

It is the only way on Cloud. You could do it through the database on Server.
