Hi,

I recently requested Xray to integrate in Jira, but it only says "App requested". And Im waiting admin approval. The thing is we dont have idea who is the administrator and he is no approving anything. How can we check who is? So we can contact him and ask him to approve it.

Thanks

Hi @Roberta Gabor

To approve app requests like Xray in Jira Cloud, you need a Site Admin or Organization Admin to take action. If you don’t know who your Jira administrators are, here’s how you can find or contact them:

Check with your IT department: In many companies, IT manages Jira administration. They may know who the Site or Organization Admins are

Look for in-product help: Sometimes, at the bottom of your Jira site, there’s a “Report a Problem” or similar button. Submitting a request there often notifies the Jira admins

Try the user management page: If you have some admin access, go to Atlassian Administration (admin.atlassian.com), select your site, and look for users with the “Site Admin” or “Organization Admin” role. If you don’t see this, you likely don’t have the required permissions

Atlassian Support: If you’re unable to identify an admin internally, you can open a support ticket with Atlassian. They may be able to tell you who the admins are or contact them on your behalf. https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Hi @Roberta Gabor

Welcome to the community!

I would recommend either opening a ticket with IT at your company or if you scroll down to the bottom of your Jira site, if it was configured there should be a "Report a Problem" button in Jira. If you click that button you can submit a request there and that should go to the admins of your instance.

Hope it helps!
