How to collect yearly activities?

Thinking to start collecting Yearly Activity plan items (higer issue type than epic) as tickets in JIRA instead of spreadsheets. For that reason I can’t decide which way would be better or dedicate one JIRA project for collecting Activities from all organisation or allow them to be created within any JIRA project but filter out, so only in Portfolio for JIRA module PO could group epics to them?

Which way would you go? Maybe you know better one, then please share your experience:)

I think that you are the only person who can answer your question.

From my point of view both options are feasible, but choosing one should depend on a deeper knowledge of your organisation. Will people like to add/check data on/from another project? From a data point of view, can you extract everything you need if you use a single project and it does not matter? Answering this type of questions should tilt you towards the decision as to which option should you use.
