Hi Support Team,

At present, Sub-task does not inherit Story / Task values

Please help to guide me on How to config Inherit all parent attributes (Sub-task will inherit Story/Task values)

Hi @Hang Ta and welcome to the community!

Though there is no native option to inherit story/task values, you could leverage automation to get the desired results.  You can go about this a couple ways:

1. You can change how you go about creating sub-tasks and let automation perform the action:
   1. Manually triggered - You can add a manual trigger to enable users to "clone" a sub-task.  The user clicks a button and the sub-task is created
   2. Automated based upon business logic - For example, when the story/task transitions to a specific status or a certain field is updated or a label/component is added, you can have it automatically create a sub-task
2. If you prefer to create your sub-tasks manually, you could set up an automation rule that automatically edits the sub-task upon creation or parent issue edit with data from the parent.

We can help with setting up the rule.  You just need to think about which option works best for your scenario.
