Hi,
Without getting into a discussion on the merits of story pointing bugs or not, we'd like to be able to add story points to the bugs we raise.
However, unlike Stories, it doesn't seem to be that straight forward.
Going in to configure the layout and fields in the bug shows Story Points as a field which should be included and displayed (ie. it's not in the hidden fields, yet it simply doesn't display in the bugs default view (or in the hidden fields bit):
What do I need to do in order for the Story Points field to be displayed?
Hoping someone out there can help,
Stu.
@stu.patrick By default, the Story Points field's context excludes it from the Bug issue type. To check this, you need to:
If the Bug issue type is not associated with the context, click on Edit configuration and then select the Bug issue type in the available list - be careful to hold Cntrl or Cmmd whilst doing this as otherwise it will de-select all other options.
In addition to this, you will need to make sure that the Story Points field is on the appropriate screens.
Hope this helps!
This really helped me!!! Thank you so much for this very straightforward answer.

Is this for a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project?
For a Company Managed project you will have to make sure that the Story Points field is included on the Screens that are set up in the Screen Scheme for displaying Bug types of issues, and also in the Field Configuration for in the Field Configuration Scheme
