when viewing the epic ticket, you are able to see the child tickets on it and from that view, you can add columns of the child tickets.
How come some fields can be edited in there while some cannot be edited? Where can I configure a created field to be editable in this view?
Hi @Sherwin Soriano,
if you open the child issue (JAG-16?) itself, can you edit the Product Sub-Status field there?

Thanks for posting the question, after reviewing the documentation: Customize the child work item table it states that in order for a field to be editable, you need to have such field in the Edit screen, please note that it also states that: Some fields, like time tracking or calculated fields, can’t be edited inline. You’ll need to expand the work item to make any changes.
Here is the quote regarding the screen:
Fields are only editable if they’ve been added to the edit screen in a project.
Kindly review the documentation, and as a Jira administrator (request in your Organization if don't this role), check if the the field is in the edit screen of the corresponding issue type, if not, add it and test if it is now editable.
If you have further questions, let me know.
Kindly review my comment and if it helps you solve your inquiry, please consider marking it as the answer.
Best regards,
David

I actually checked the screen scheme but it does not tell me how to make the field inside the child item view to be editable.... Can you provide screenshot as I am lost on where I need to configure or check?
