I'm looking for a similar way as Atlassian has split the the Jira project into JRASERVER and JRACLOUD, keeping the same statuses, issue keys and a reference to the source issue.

Example:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-60916

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-60916

Scriptrunner's built in feature to copy a project cannot do this. Who has alternatives?

Hi @Patrick van der Rijst

When you say Scriptrunner's copy project function cannot achieve this, can you clarify what you meant? If you mean issue keys are not maintained then this is potentially due to issues having been deleted in between and then when it is creating the new one, it uses the current pcounter of the project you are cloning to.

You can try clone plus add-on which allows copying all issue content such as history, comment to name a few.

Search out Clone Project in marketplace.

Scriptrunner can copy the project but issues will have different key counters as the original issue. Also the status of the issue is not copied over and there's no option to link it to the original issue.

I'll check out Clone plus, thanks!
