How to create a Release in Jira

I have Epics and stories created in a project but I don't see any options to create a Release ...can someone help?

I would ask you to follow this guide for Jira Cloud to enable releases for your project -  https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/enable-releases-and-versions/ .

Are you using a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project? It will say at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left?

Are you using a Work Management/Business project, a Software project, or a Service Management project? That will be shown at the top of the navigation pane on the left, just below the project name.

The ability to create releases requires certain project administrator permission. You need to ensure you have that also.

And Releases should then be an option that you see in the navigation pane on the left.

If that is not enough to help you solve the issue, can you provide screen images of what you see?
