I would like to get a change of status any time an approved transitions activated from an authorized user (approval) makes the action to approve the issue. At the moment I have the first status "Waiting for approval" and when the first user approve it (from approvals group) it doesn't change the status from "Waiting for approval" to "First Approved", but it waits for second approved action. Then the assigned user when acts the bottom 'Approved" from the list of the main bottom functions (Edit, Comment, Approved, etc..) the status changes from Waiting for approval" to the next stage of status regularly.
Could you help me, please?
Hi @ELI0067. Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
It sounds like you're on the right path. Have you double-checked the transitions and permissions and tried isolating the steps? Is the "transition when approved" set to the one intended to? You can create multiple approval transitions, and they work the same way.
Hi Ivan, thank you so much for your suggestions.
I noticed that in the properties of the status "Waiting for approval" there is a property key and value :
approval.transition.approved | 901 |
that generate the bottom "Approved" (see the point n.2) for the second approval.
So, When I make the first approved (see the point n.1) the status doesn't change. I tried to include another status (First Approved" but it doesn't work again.
Any suggestions, please?

You don't need to change the properties; Jira does it for you. The "Approved" button you see is your transition. Once you hit the "First Approved" status, you should repete the approval configuration the same way you did for the "Waiting for Approval" status.
Focus on getting the first one to work as expected so you fully grasp the configurations you're applying to get the approval step in place. I'd recommend going through the article Configuring Jira Service Management approvals in detail. For example, do it in a clean project to configure it from scratch.
