Hello Everyone,
New to JIRA Software. Our company several different product lines, and we are attempt to use JIRA to manage the developments of these different product separately. We want to create "space" to isolate the development of each product group, such that team members from one product line will not be access to others.
Is Project the correct type to use? In Project Management, project is defined as an entity with a definite lifespan, such as a start and an end. Given the products will always be ongoing, we are not sure if using "Project" is the right way to create separation between product types. Is there a way to create an actual isolated space?
Yes you should create unique "Project" for each product and you can controll which users access which project, get notifications, etc. BTW, "Space" is a Confluence term there is no such term in Jira.
