How to create multiple stories from a template

I would like the ability create multiple stories easily for common work. Ideally they would have blocking links already setup to allow for different specialists on the team to see the status of a blocking issue.

I would like to setup a series of stories the way I want and then just duplicate them when I need to create them.

I have tried using subtasks and the quick subtasks plugin, but this is a problem for burndown and often these stories will carry over to the next sprint. I think stories would be much easier to use, but I can't find a tool that will do this.

This would be possible with ScriptRunner for Jira. You could write a script to create these stories.
