How to create pre-populated drop down menu

My workflow process requires me to escalate an issue to 2nd level suppor which consist of Product Team and Operations Team and the team managers are user1 and user 2. I know that jira doesn't support escalation to groups, so would like when I use the escalate button I get a screen with a drop down list with user1 and user2 pre populated.

Is this possible?

Hi guys,

I am opening up this again as I need a beter solution to group picker. I am looking to create a pre populated dropdown menu containing the folollowing "Test1, Test2, Test3", I would like to have the assignee linked to the fields, so when I click the drop down menu "Test1" automatically goes to "User 1".

Please let me know if this is clear or do I need to explain a bit more?

For this you could assign components to test1, test2, test3 with a default assignee  for each component.
