How to create simple templates for iterative Jira issues specific for my project /board?

I want to configure issue template specific for my project board. So that it doesn't hamper or be duplicated with organization's issue templates.

Is this possible ?

what exactly do you mean when you say issue templates? So that the description (or other fields) are already filled with some template values?

This is not sth. which Jira can do out of the box, I'd recommend to have a look in the Atlassian Marketplace if there is a solution to fit your needs. You might want to checkout these candidates:

• Issue Templates for Jira (for Server and Cloud)
• Easy Templates for Jira issues (only for Cloud)
• Quick Create (only for Server)
