Hi @ariharan m and @Varsha Joshi ,

Good day to you.
Thank you for your interest in easeRequirements - Requirements Management for Jira Cloud.

In the Cloud version, folders in the project tree are implemented as Jira issues of a specific issue type.

The folders used to organize requirements in the project tree are themselves Jira issues with their own type. The issue type to be used for folders is determined by the Jira administrator. Issues of the folder type have additional functionality with easeRequirements:

  • The folder and issue contents can be displayed in the Reading View mode.
  • The display of the issues included in a folder can be collapsed or expanded.
  • Aggregate values of certain fields (e.g. count of states and types) for the issues contained in the folder are provided.

To use this feature, please follow the steps below:

  • Create a new issue type in Jira named “Folder”.
  • Navigate to Manage Apps > Configuration in the Jira admin section.
  • Set “Folder” as the folder issue type in the easeRequirements configuration.

This will allow you to organize your requirements efficiently using folders in easeRequirements Cloud.

Hi @ariharan m

I have noticed it too, the feature of adding folders is not available. Could that be because it is a trial version? Hope someone from R4J can answer that.
