How to create ticket automatically

Hi,

I want to link Outlook and Teams to automatically create tickets in JIRA.

Ex:

If we receive mail from the Client to create a ticket, the ticket should be created automatically with the help of mail subject and description. Is there any way to do this?

Hey Bharath,

 

If you want to implement this for Software projects, you can follow this document:

Create issues and comments from email

 

For Service Management projects, this configuration is available at the project level under Project Settings > Email Requests. Here's the support documentation for this:

Hi @Bharath Pattu Murugan welcome to the community!  If you are the Administrator of your system, you can look under Settings (the gear) / Product / Jira Service Management then under "Email requests" you can see what email your system is setup for.  If customers use that email, it will create tickets in your system.

Not sure if that's what you were looking for.  Our system is setup that way. I don't like using the email creation because the wording of tickets gets very long.
