Any how , you can use filter subscription option for getting reminders every day for the assignee.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

status = Open and assignee = currentUser()

and subscribe this filter to group or role members who you want to trigger mail
