How to deal with these warnings when I view my "Releases"?

Here is a snapshot:

Warnings.jpgNow, I understand that the warnings are fairly self-explanatory:

-----

Warnings indicate when the status of a JIRA issue doesn't reflect related development activity. For example: an issue marked complete that has an open pull request should be marked as still being in progress.

These issues have been marked complete but the commits are not part of a pull request or review.

-----

Here is the thing, I am a sole developer. I use my source control on BitBucket as a means of backup etc. All I have done in all these years of using BitBucket is push my commits to my online repository. Then, when I have released by software on my website I create and push a new tag.

As a result, I have never done a pull or anything. I didn't see a need. Given my usage of Bitbucket, is there a step I am missing (other than pulling the code back down to my PC) that I can perform to resolve these warnings?

Hi @ChuckieAJ,

If you're a sole developer and you don't have anyone to review your code, you will see these warnings. If your code is linked to a Jira issue (which is a good thing) and the code is not linked to a pull request for review of the code (which is bound to happen in your situation), the release hub will display this warning. It acts as an indication of a potential risk with the quality of your code, not necessarily as a catastrophic failure.

So in short, you don't need to do anything to avoid this in your current situation. Just accept and understand that and why they are there. And know that for other, more serious problems (like e.g. failing builds) there will be different warnings as well.

I happened to run into this short video with a bit more background on the process and the different warnings.
