How to define a issue level security, which allows teams to see their issues only?

I have several teams and the requirement that the teams should not see the issues of the other teams. How do I have to define the issue level security?

I can set the security level either based on the reporter or based on a static group. But how can I set the security level based of the group of the reporter?

This can't be done, the code does not look further than the immediate layer.

It wouldn't work on the most part anyway - most Jira systems have a group that says "can use Jira" and your reporter will be in it, along with everyone else...
