How to delete the future "ghost"-sprint

Natalka Hrynenko May 9, 2022

Hello there, help me, please
From the previous period, I received some "ghost"-sprints:

  • I see it in the issue's "Sprint" field
  • I can click on it after and see all boards on which this sprint appears ("Sprint ... appears on the following boards:")
  • but I don't see it in the listed boards - so, I haven't the ability to manage it (complete it, for example))

What should I do to hide it in the "Sprint" field sprints list?

Hello @Natalka Hrynenko

Welcome to the community.

An issue can be added to any sprint, even if that issue is not within the scope of the board(s) where the Sprint was created. You can remove it from the sprint either from a board that displays the sprint and this issue in it, or by removing the sprint value directly from the issue's Sprint field.

Thank you for your answer
But the whole problem is that I see old irrelevant sprints in the drop-down list in the issue's field - like noise, like garbage
And I don't see them anywhere else, so I can't close (complete) them

Oh, I see. I misunderstood. I thought you meant the issues had been assigned to the sprints.

The sprints that are listed may also be completed sprints. If so, those would not show on the Backlog or Board screen for boards, but would only show in the Reports section for boards.

You cannot apply a filter to the pull-down for the Sprints field to change which sprints are in that list.

There is a change request for limited what gets listed:
