In JIRA 5, there is a function where users automaticly is set to watch created issues. The user can by himself disable this on the profile page.
But is that the only way? Wee need to have this value disabled by default, since out notification schemes rely on this. We do not want users to get notified about everything unless they by own hand set a watch on the issue. So the solution is not to change all our notification schemes for the watcher role.
In other words: Is there a generelt setting for disabling autowatch for the JIRA installation?
