How to do a list using the markup language with newline

samuelbuck September 4, 2018

I would like to make a list like this:

This is a list

  • Item A
    • Item A.a
    • Item A.b
  • Item B

Using the markup language like this:

+This is a list+ // * Item A // ** Item A.a // ** Item A.b // * Item B

Hi Sameul,

If you want to to specify this all in one line, then this should done with a double backslash as follow:

* Item A  \\ ** Item A.a \\ ** Item A.b  \\ ** Item B

Hi Mohamed,

Is there a specific version of JIRA that this works/ doesn't work on.
I gave the example a try and this is what I got.

I tried this on Jira 7.8.0. Can you clarify which version you are using?

Clicking on "About JIRA", It says JIRA v7.6.4
