How to download a list of all created projects (Excel)

You can do this with one click using the Better Excel Exporter app.

It has a default (but customizable!) export template project-export.xlsx which produces a spreadsheet like this:

Hi Tina

I am not sure this is possible out of the box with excel. You could however use the Rest API function to fetch all projects and save this into a file which you can then further process into an Excel file.

See get all projects here: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/1000.824.0/#api/2/project

The result returned will be In JSON and you can process this further.

Hi Tina - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can't really download a list of projects out of the box. You might be able to do it with an API call. What I usually do is Copy on my monitor and then paste the list into Excel and then do some clean up.
