How to ensure all issues are done before an epic is moved to DONE/RESOLVED status ?

Hello,

I am having a problem where users are moving an epic to DONE status, before few of the issues within the epic are not yet completed,

How do I prevent closing of an epic until all the issues within it are completed ?

Hi @Aisha M,

To enforce this requirement where users are not allowed to move the Epic to Done Status prior to completing all the issues tied to it, we have to look outside of the native functionality available with JIRA.

JMWE helps realise your Use Case with ease. Scriptrunner, if you are able to script this requirement, is another option to leverage, if you will.
