How to evaluate free trial of confluence on existing on premise JIRA

Is there a way to add confluence free trial to existing JIRA on premise. I go to setting addons and confluence free trial is not available

You will need to install Confluence seperatly from JIRA.  It is a stand alone application that can be linked to JIRA once you have them both up and running.   We even have them both running on the same server for our QA environment, thought I really would not recommend that for a Production environment.

Confluence is a separate server, not an add-on or application for JIRA.
