How to export/import Jira project contents along with the attachments

Hi Team,

I would like to know is there away to export/import JIRA project along with attachments. We have a requirement to export specific projects with all data along with attachments.

Please help us find the possibilities of importing/exporting specific projects along with attachments.

You can't export a project, if you want a full export of it (comments, history etc).  You have to export a whole JIRA system and then import individual projects.

As Joe says, you then handle attachments with a simple copy of the directory tree from the source server, being put into the "import" folder on the target, with the exported xml.

You need to export the attachments separately. They are in a file/folder structure not the database.
