Hello everyone!
I am currently trying to make an excel export with statistics over multiple different projects in jira with xporter like:
<PROJECT_NAME> <BUG_COUNT> <STORY_COUNT>
My Issue Query in Jira: project = "project1" and project = "project2"
Is it somehow possible to distinguish different projects during export? Unfortunately i couldnt´ find any template or solution in the forum.
Thank you very much!
Regards,
Michael
Thanks for the quick response! @Levente Szabo _Midori_ @Stuart Capel - London !
Indeed, i am referring to jira server.
Example: I want to select every of ticket (issues) of specific projects like:
project = "Project A" AND project = "Project B" AND project = "Project C" (Now i see tickets of all projects, which i want to export for statistics)
Now i want the correct bug count, story count for each project in my export. It would be fairly easy to count tickets when i am exporting only one project but it should also work for multiple.
I have attached an example output.
Thank you!
@Stuart Capel - London , that is for Jira Cloud, isn't it? I think @Michael is referring to Server.
What you describe should be a fairly simple export with the mentioned custom fields exported to their columns.
What do you mean by "distinguish different projects during export"? What would be an example output that you would like to achieve?

Hi @Michael
There's a built-in Excel export feature that allows you to send whatever issue fields you like into an Excel or GSheet file.
If you go to issues and then advanced search you'll see the icons to click on and be guided through the process.
You'll need to install the add-on but once you do you can choose which fields you import and from which projects. It's definitely worth checking out!
