How to extract XML so that web-services application can map issue fields

I am trying to automate some requests for that i need to extract XML and provide to another application team who are using web-services application in order to map issue fields.

Do you want to extract issue data as XML? if yes then,

• Fetch data from your Jira as JSON and convert it to XML, there are lots of JSON to XML convertor available.
• Also checkout Jira Exporting Issue section, this create XML backup that you can use.
