How to extract attachments from JIRA

Hi Team,

I am trying to export  the records with attachments from JIRA.

I have tried " JIRA PDF view plugin and Xporter for JIRA, but it does not show attachments of records.

I have checked in JIRA instance, it is showing attachments properly but in binary files.

how can I extract those attachments from JIRA server to my local machine in any file format?

JIRA PDF View Plugin does export the issue attachments to the PDF document!

getAttachment from JIRA Command Line Interface (CLI) can retrieve attachment files. Use together with runFromAttachmentList for instance.

I wonder whether pdf to text conversion process is much simpler than extracting texts from pdf files?
