Hi. I believe this is a type of 'nested query' that Jira may not be able to support but thought I'd ask the question anyway -

I want to filter out issues which have linked issues at a specific status.

eg You have a task which is linked by the 'has to be done after' link type to other tasks - ie the task has dependencies. I want to be able to create a filter which shows the tasks for which any issues it 'has to be done after' are complete/Done/resolved.

Is this possible? Without having to buy a plugin?

I am using Jira Cloud.

Hi Bethany, welcome to the Community.

Your initial assumption is correct, OOTB Jira cannot achieve this. If you have a scripting addon like Scriptrunner, Power Scripts, etc. you should be able to do so.
