I would like to ask, if there is a way how to find out JIRA ticket origin, especially when we use e-mail for gathering. Is there any way how to know if ticket was created by user via e-mail when JIRA links that ticket to user profile according to e-mail adress?

Although for future, you can write custom mail handler for Jira (https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/message-handler/)
