How to force the user to pop up a box to refine the value of a custom field when the issue is ready

In a team management project, a scenario is expected to be implemented where a pop-up box prompts the user to fill in the value of a field to be used for information collection when the user is about to close the issue.

Considered using workfolw rules, but couldn't find any applicable ones.

You can add a transition screen on your workflow, during the transition to Done. On that screen place all the fields you want the user to fill in. In addition, on the same transition place a validator for all fields to be required!

Hmm.. it seems that I didn't read the question very well. Thanx for pointing it out @__ Jimi Wikman! Indeed in TMP this is not possible. Out of the box, you can't do it. So you either look for a possible 3rd party app, or you switch to a CMP and do the solution as provided in my first comment.
