Hello everyone. So right now I'm using one of scriptrunner's workflow functions. When an issue goes from one status to another, a custom email is sent to the customer, and it works fine. But I can't get scriptrunner to use the correct email address. Our email handler is JEMH, we use this to import emails from customers and create them automatically as issues.
In Scriptrunner I already use the Reply-to email address field - But we still experience customers using the wrong email
I think the problem lies in how the profiles are set up in JEMH, but am unsure how this should be done correctly.
You must write if you need more information - I have tried to describe it as well as I could.
Is JEMH setting the custom fields correctly? If not, I'd suggest raising a support request.
If it is setting the custom field correctly, make sure that any custom post-functions you have in your workflow are ordered after the "Re-index an issue" step, this ensures issue data is found.
What type of project is this (JSM, Software)?
Could you please clarify what Post-Function you are using to trigger the email? Is it the Custom script post-function or the Send a custom email post-function?
It would be helpful if you could provide a screenshot of your configuration and share the current code you are using so I can review it and provide some feedback.
Also, it would be helpful if you could share your Mail Handler configuration.
Thank you and Kind regards,
Ram
