Hello,
I need to generate a dynamic reports for number of active users in Jira. Like how active and how often they use jira. Can anyone suggest me how to do this? Any help/information is thankful.
We have eazybi plugin, team reports plugin and we use okta sso.
And one more thing can i even figure out how often an add on is used?
Regards,
Ganesh
Hi Ganesh,
I am not sure how helpful these suggestions might be, but maybe they will give you a little insight.
You can go to the User Management section under Settings to see a list of all users. You can change the filter at the top from All Users to Has site access to see active persons.
To see their activity, you can create a Dashboard with the Activity Stream gadget to see the activity being generated. You could use a filter for a group of users, or individuals to see what they have been doing recently.
Not sure what add-ons you need information for, but sometimes, I have the system (even the add on itself) email me when a transaction is complete or some type of activity is done. Automation for Jira is great for that. You might even be able to do a filter for add-on and use in the activity stream gadget.
I hope that helps a little!
HI @John Funk
Thanks for the response but infact the team was looking like they need data has how efficiently their team is using Jira. And their major concern was to lessen the user tier.
This was the major concern and by integrating with easybi i was not able to do it. But that user management if we export as excel and import in easybi we can perform few things but i dunno how to make it dynamic like exporting it into excel and importing it.
As this a cloud its difficult for the same for some other org we had done as it was server we have access to db and running query we could get information.
Any idea on this as how to move forward
