How to get assignee email address in filter results?

One of my users wants to be able to run filters and get the email address of all of the issue assignees in the filter results. This is in order to send email to each of the assignees. Anyone know of a way to do that?

Not an answer, but to understand the usercase. If the intention is to notify people about their issues, this is directly possible from Jira with subscriptions and with a filter containing 'Assignee=Current User'
