How to get comment next to attachment?

How do I get a description of an attachment to show up next to the attachment. All I see near the attachment thumbnail now is the filename, size and date. The comment I entered when making the attachment is down in the Comments section rather than right below the attachment thumbnail.

That is the way it is meant to work. You would need to file a feature request at https://jira.atlassian.com/ and the PM team will determine if this should be added.
