Looking at the screenshot below

• Ensure that you've selected GET from the dropdown
• Between the https:// and .atlassian, put the domain name of your Jira instance
• The bit after rest/api/3/ is the actual API call - I've gone for a system search with no parameters passed in
• Ensure that you've selected Basic Auth from the dropdown
• Put your Jira e-mail address in the Username field
• Put your API token (generated using the e-mail address above) in the Password field
• Click Send
