Does anyone know how to get the full "Work Type" as a column in a JQL Statement. If I add "Type" it show the icon for the giving Work Type, but I would like the name (description) to show up when I view my results.

it's currently not possible, there is a feature request for this on Atlassian side.
[JRACLOUD-8108] System Field: Issue Type - only icon is displayed in issue navigator - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.
