How to give permission to add comment based on the custom field 'group picker' value

The person adding comments should be based on the group picker custom field. The persons belonging to other groups should not be able to comment.

I understand that you would like to allow users to comment on issues only when they are added to one of the groups selected in the group picker custom field of those specific issues. Is it correct?

If that's the case, you can add Group Picker Custom Fields under the Add Comments permission of your project's permission scheme. Here are the steps:

- Navigate to your project > Project Settings > Permissions

- Click on Actions > Edit Permissions

- In the Add Comments permission, click on Edit and grant the permission to the Group custom field value, selecting the group picker you want to validate:
