Hey, we're about to start a migration process from github Teams to github enterprise cloud. the migration process is moving all the repos from our original github organization into a new github organization in the enterprise account. all repo data such as commit history, releases, branches and PR's are saved and moved to the new organization. github assigned apps are not migrated in the process. we will have to reinstall and configure the Jira app in the new org. We used the backfilling feature and we want all the links and data to be saved, meaning it will direct to the url of the new organization (the repo remains the same only the path is changed).
we believe that after the migration we will have "broken links" in Jira, the links will direct the old URL instead of the new one.
is this something that was done before? is that even possible? how do you usually deal with repo migration? is there some process we should follow?
Thanks in advanced
