How to hide 'create an idea' button

Is it possible to hide or disable the New Product Request 'Create an idea' button?  We want to only use the top navigation 'Create' button as it shows our required template.

Hi Allena, 

Yes.  It's the button on the left side under 'New Product Requests', which is a default view. 

Please let me know if you have any insight on how to hide it from view.
