How to hide/disable "Assign" button from view issue screen

I dont want "Assign" button when I open an issue in view mode

Hi,

In the Project Permissions assigned to your project, disable authorization "Assign Issues"

hi.

afaik this cant be done by any screen scheme setting.

you may want to add a priority to your workflow where you specify if users can assign issues.

those who can't should not be able to see the "Assign" function.
