This question is specifically for Atlassian Marketplace Partners and the Atlassian Team.
We recently encountered a situation with one of our Marketplace app licenses and are seeking clarification.
When an evaluation license transitions into a commercial (paid) license, but the payment has not yet been processed (i.e., the customer hasn’t been charged and we haven’t received any payment), we understand that Atlassian allows a 30-day grace period to complete the payment (90 days in case any solution partner is included). During this period, multiple payment attempts are made to avoid service interruption.
However, in such cases, how can we determine whether the transitioned license is on a monthly or annual billing plan?
For example, the license we're currently seeing has already moved to a paid state from an evaluation state, but the payment is still pending. Interestingly, the maintenance period shown is five months, which adds to our confusion.
We’d appreciate any clarification on how the billing cycle (monthly vs. annual) is reflected or identified in such cases during the grace period.
