Hi Team,
I have a number custom field and it should increase a number each time a ticket is reopened, so if a user reopened a ticket once, the custom field value should increment to 1, and if they reopened the same ticket again, the number should increase to 2, and so on.
Would someone kindly give guidance on how to accomplish this using the workflow post function?
I am aware that Jira automation is possible, however the Project already has a lot of automation in place. So, I'm attempting to verify Workflow. Please provide suggestions we are not using any add-ons. Thanks

There's nothing Jira does off-the-shelf for this, so you'll need to look to an automation or script that can read the current value and add one to it.
