How to integerate the external application into jira

User Can create Tickets in external application and we can see them in JIRA System. (how to do this)

Can we send the communication external application with status updates?

It depends on the application you want to integrate with Jira. If it is another jira instance you can use one of the several integration plugin in the marketplace ( clear recommendation for Backbone ). Otherwise, use the REST APi to program an interface with the external application.
