Hi ,
I want to integrate jira to rtc ,requirement is like raise an issue in JIRA and then link it to RTC ,i found Rational Lifecycle Integration Adapters - Tasktop Edition is the option to integrate both tools(JIRA & RTC). Is the only possible option to proceed further, or is there any alternatives to achieve this!!.
please kindly suggest on this.
Regards,
venkatesh
Hello Venkateswara,
I'm afraid that the only option to integrate both JIRA and IBM RTC is using the third-party plugin Tasktop, as you have mentioned.
Are you facing any problems to integrate it or only looking for a different option?
Here's a video with details on how you can perform the integration:
Hi Petterson,
Thanks for the valuable information. Do you have any information regarding the installation as well? I am not able to find the product installers (Contacted the support which replied with, "we have no record of `company name` being a customer or entitled to support. Are you by chance working with an partner where you have bought licenses of Tasktop products?) or any installation documents.
Regards,
Venkatesh

Hello Venkatesh,
I have not used this plugin before, however, I could find the contact of the application owner and his home page, so you can directly contact them:
Please, let me know if they give you any insights into the installation of the plugin.

Hi,
We are also trying to achieve the same objective, we were wondering you were able to find any way of achieving this without 3rd Party tools. Let us know if this is feasible.
We appreciate your reply in advance
Thank you

On the IBM website, there is another option listed.
You can check this out: https://www-356.ibm.com/partnerworld/gsd/solutiondetails.do?solution=45577&lc=en&stateCd=P&tab=2
OpsHub's website lists multiple use cases with Jira as well as RTC. You can check with them.
